I am a Recipient
An IKain Service Recipient (Recipient for short) is an IKain user who receives a service from a Service Provider (Provider for short).
Reserve a Service
You can search for desired services using any of the following methods:
1. Follow the Marketplace link on the "Navigation Menu Bar" at the top of all IKain web pages.
2. Follow the Browse by category link to the right of the "Search Box" below the "Navigation Menu Bar".
3. Use the "Search Box" located on the top of most IKain page. You can search either "by service" or "by user".
If you know the realname, or username, you can type that inside the Search Box, and click on "Search service".
After you find the service you are interested in, check if the "Schedule" icon next to the service title is active. An active schedule means the service is open for reservation. If you click on the service title, you can see more detail about the service. Clicking on the "Schedule" icon will take you to the "Calendar" page where you can reserve the service. Make sure you have sufficient balance in your virtual IKain Bank account before you make any reservation. If the balance is insufficient, please click the IKain Bank link to charge your account first.
For the "Confirmation Not Required" type of service, once you make a reservation for it, a trade contract between you and the Provider is automatically put in place. For the "Confirmation Required" type of service, the Provider has to "confirm" your reservation before a trade contract is put in place.
For a reservation that is “not confirmed" yet, you can cancel it any time on the Trade list page. There are no fees charged against you or the Provider for this kind of cancellation. On the other hand, if you want to cancel a “confirmed” service, there will be a penalty charge of 20% of the total service cost. For your and the provider's benefit, we highly recommend you to plan your reservations carefully to avoid any unnecessary cancellations.
Receive a Service
At the scheduled service time, you can receive the service from the Provider through one of the following methods:
1. On the My Account page, click the Trade menu item on the left panel and follow the “VOffice” link to go to the Provider's VOffice. The Provider should be in his/her VOffice at the scheduled time. If for some reason, the Provider is not in his/her VOffice, just be patient and check again a few minutes later.
2. Depending on the network condition, you and the Provider may choose to use other online chatting tools instead of the IKain VOffice. These other tools include Skype, MSN, QQ, and so on. Please communicate with your Provider directly to set this up.
Feedback
After a service is delivered, you can provide your feedback by going to the My Account -> Trade -> Trade List link page. If you don't provide a feedback, we assume that you are happy with the service. A perfect rating will be automatically assigned to the Provider for that service.
